Hello!

Established in 2014 by Hayley Cadden-Downie Ink & Icing specialises in creating bespoke cakes and event stationery in the north east of England.

Whilst working as A Graphic Designer Hayley started decorating cakes as a hobby.

Having discovered that she had a talent for making cakes, she took the job as head baker and cake decorator for a local cake and chocolate shop.

Now working full time as a cake decorator Hayley found there was still a demand for her design skills and she was often asked to create invitations for weddings, christening and birthday parties with the cakes she baked.

Ink & Icing was officially established so she could combine her two skill sets and offer her customers somewhere they can find both beautiful stationery and amazing cakes in one place.
